KISS THE BAND AND BRAND ROCKS RALEY FIELD

They may be to blame for the need to replace the dilapidated Power Balance Pavilion concert venue and Sacramento Kings home court.

SACRAMENTO ROCK CITY

The KISS ARMY was well represented in Sacramento, California on Sunday, as KISS brought the music, the stage show, and the makeup to the Capitol of California- for the Walk 'N Rock for Kids fundraiser benefit concert. KISS fans poured past the KISS Minis into Raley Field, and rocked the warm summer like evening, enjoying a bombastic spectacle, and supporting a great cause. Kids seemed to be a huge part of the audience, with many of them made up in makeup as their favorite rock heroes.

From Modern Day Delilah to Rock and Roll All Night, KISS filled the baseball stadium with guitars, drums, fire, and smoke. The Walk 'N Rock VIP fund raisers enjoyed up front tables, but everyone in the minor league venue had a great view.

The KISS Minis were parked at the venue's main gate, and later backstage. The stars of Family Jewels- Sophie, Nick, and Shannon- were also present, filming scenes and greeting fans down on the floor.

The show ended with a series of explosions ringing the Sacramento air. The KISS ARMY, especially the young ones present (and who the show was really about), will not forget the show anytime soon.

VINNIE VINCENT: NO PUNISHMENT FOR DOG CORPSES

Former KISS guitarist Vincent Cusano will NOT face animal cruelty charges after officials found 4 dead dogs at the rocker's home in Tennessee this weekend ... TMZ has learned.

A rep for the Pet Adoption Welfare Services (PAWS) tells TMZ ... Vinnie had kept all 4 animals in above-ground plastic storage bins, clearly marked as graves ... with little memorials written on them -- and even though it's really creepy ... it ain't illegal.

TMZ broke the story ... Vinnie was arrested for allegedly beating the crap out of his wife ... and while cops were at the home, they noticed the dead animals and called PAWS to investigate.

Vinnie's wife explained the dogs had been killed by ANOTHER one of the family's 9 still-living dogs. PAWS tells us they will test all of the living pets for rabies.

Vincent (real name Vinnie Cusano) was busted by the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department in Tennessee and held on $10,000 bond. He posted and was released at 11:27 AM.
Vincent was known as the Ankh Warrior during his time with the band.

The 18-year-old was involved in the accident on Thursday afternoon as she was sitting in a traffic jam in Los Angeles.
When the car behind failed to stop, Sophie was pushed forward into the car in front of her - causing the pile-up.

Saturday May 14, 2011 marked the return of the annual KISS CONVENTION to the NJ/NY area after over three years. Many were skeptical and didn't know what to expect since the New Jersey / New York area convention has been dormant for so long, but since we were actually there we can let you know first hand! The dealer's set up time was 7am but we rolled in somewhere 9am. Fans that bought special tickets got advance entry which was 11am and all that attended got a special laminated pass which was pretty cool. There were gold, standard, dealer and possibly others. A standard pass was for fans that were coming in at the posted entry time which was twelve noon.

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — KISS Frontman Gene Simmons visited the KCAL 9 Studios Thursday to talk to Dave Gonzales and Sandra Mitchell about a new social media language endeavour.
Simmons has partnered with Ortsbo.com, a real-time social medial language translation platform. Simmons will host the world’s first real-time, interactive global fan chat in 53 languages on May 20, where fans can ask him anything in 58 different languages.
Ortsbo.com is free and be used with other social media websites like Facebook, Google Talk and Twitter.

DID YOU KNOW...
... that Peter Criss' second Solo LP 1982 "Let me rock you" was released with 3 different covers? All 3 versions show up on eBay from time to time.
In most countries the cover looked like this:

In the USA the LP was not released until it came out on CD in the late '90s after the Reunion.

In Germany the photo from the back-cover was switched to the the front and looked like this:


In Japan it looked totally different:

GIG HARBOR MAN SUSPECTED IN CYBER ATTACK ON GENE SIMMONS

A Gig Harbor man is the target of a federal investigation after he allegedly launched a cyber attack on rocker Gene Simmons’ web site.
A search warrant obtained by the FBI accuses the Gig Harbor man conducting a type of cyber attack called a “Distributed Denial of Service” (DDoS) on the web sites genesimmons.com, simmonsrecords.com and kissonline.com.

Before I played one note on the Cort Gene Simmons Punisher 2 Bass I needed to properly prepare for the occasion. I first needed to re-acquaint myself with Kiss’ Destroyer and secondly, and most importantly, I needed to be wearing a Kiss make-up era shirt. You may be asking yourself why a make-up era shirt when the original Punisher was first introduced by Gene Simmons in 1992-93 during Kiss’ Revenge album? The answer is simple, I wanted too!

When the bass arrived, the first thing that caught my attention and really impressed me was the custom case. It’s extremely light weight yet very strong.

DUTCH SINGER MARCO BORSATO AS GENE SIMMONS

New Dutch KISS Tribute band KISS LICKSS & #1 Dutch Singer Marco Borsato have teamed up together with Veronica Magazine & The Children Cancer Free Foundation (KIKA) to transform Marco Borsato into his childhood hero Gene Simmons.

Dutch Bass player & "Gene Simmons extraordinaire" Robbert van Gorcum from Kiss Tribute band KISS LICKSS (www.kisslickss.com) was asked to make his Destroyer Costume available ( the one and only in The Netherlands) & assist with the make-up & fotoshoot.

The result is an unbelievable realistic photo from Marco Borsato as Gene Simmons.
At the end of the year 2011 all photo's will be auctioned and all profits will go to The Children Cancer Free Foundation.
It's been said that KISS LICKSS will perfom at this auction.

DID YOU KNOW...
... that "Sonic Boom" has never been released in Japan? It is only available there as import. The last official Kiss album released in Japan was last year  "Super Best", which is a Japanese version of the Millennium Collection.
It was listed in eBay recently and sold for $ 90,-!

It was a very good Rock-Show. At Tuesday the 18. May 1976. The Fans nearly went nuts. The show started with fire + smoke and ended in a kind of snowshower.
The boys were real good.
Opener were the - then unknown - Scorpions.
