Paul Stanley and his wife, Erin Sutton, join the LOVE crew.

Paul Stanley is enjoying a honeymoon-styled Vegas vacation with his newly pregnant wife, Erin Sutton -- all built around his KISS concert tonight at the Pearl in the Palms. The happy couple checked in first to their very own penthouse condo atop George Maloof's new Palms Place tower.

It's their first weekend in the palatial pad, which has a spectacular 360-degree panorama view all the way from the Red Rock range on the West out to the mountain peaks on the eastern edge of the valley.

I toured it with George while it was in final construction and can tell you it's so amazing you'd never want to leave! Paul is a long-time friend going back 30 years now and we even share the same New York City stock broker! He won't mind me telling you that his platinum multi-million-dollar playpen comes complete with a secret outdoor oversized sunken jacuzzi for two!

Then they headed off to see The Beatles LOVE show by Cirque du Soleil at the Mirage. Before the show started they swiped the credit card for a small shopping spree in the LOVE Boutique. Paul purchased a $180 Outpost brand, studded long-sleeved Beatles T-shirt for his wife but only spent $40 for a junk food-brand hunter-green Beatles logo T-shirt for himself.

After the show, Paul and Erin went backstage too meet the cast and crew of the spectacular musical journey of the Beatles' life. He signed the stars' wall of fame with a special message "All You Need is LOVE and KISS."

KISS FRONTMAN, WIFE EXPECTING SECOND CHILD

(from people.com)
Paul Stanley, the legendary co-founder and frontman for KISS, and his wife, Erin, are expecting their second child together, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

Erin, 36, an attorney, is due this winter.

"Erin and I are thrilled and can't wait to meet our newest addition," Stanley, 56, said in a statement to PEOPLE. "We've been extremely blessed and we're excited to see what the future holds. I often joke that I've traded the Viper Room for the diaper room, and it looks like my tour's been extended!"

The couple, who married in 2005, live in Beverly Hills with their son Colin, who turns 2 in September, and Paul’s 14-year-old son, Evan, from a previous marriage.

News of the pregnancy comes as Stanley recently completed the European leg of The Kiss Alive/35 World Tour, which encompassed 30 sold-out shows in seven weeks.

BRUCE KULICK TALKS STAR WARS WITH MAUL STANLEY
The news blog at StarWars.com (the official Star Wars website) has posted a new interview with former Kiss guitarist Bruce Kulick. The article serves as an epilogue to his recent onstage interview with the mysterious Maul Stanley (the parody hybrid of Star Wars character Darth Maul and Kiss guitarist Paul Stanley). Whereas their original discussion dealt primarily with Bruce's experiences in Kiss, the follow-up focuses on his lifelong appreciation of the Star Wars saga (and its historical similarities to Kiss). A few excerpts from the interview follow. Also included is a link to Maul Stanley's appearance in the latest episode of the Talking Metal podcast.

Maul Stanley: Bruce Kulick, are you a Star Wars fan?

Bruce Kulick: Yes, I love Star Wars! I grew up with it and I've seen every movie many times over.

Maul Stanley: Do you have a favorite line, moment or scene from any of the Star Wars films?

Bruce Kulick: Gosh, every 5 minutes there's another memorable scene in every one of the movies. George Lucas just knows how to create great entertainment. No doubt, when Darth Vader reveals to Luke Skywalker that he's actually his father, that's a very intense and powerful moment. And to see him later without his mask on... to see how freakin' ugly Darth Vader was underneath... that was actually quite scary!

Maul Stanley: So who's scarier under the mask, Darth Vader or Gene Simmons?

Bruce Kulick: Good question! Gene can be very scary, but I'd have to say he's still one up on Darth Vader.

Maul Stanley: As a musician, what is your take on the impact of music in the Star Wars movies?

Bruce Kulick: Well, knowing a little about the film industry from the music end of things, I can tell you that music is usually not their first priority. That being the case, George Lucas made the right choice in having John Williams score the films. That man is a master of the classic, sprawling epic. I thought his choice of music for the cantina scene was especially interesting. It wasn't quite rock but I think it would've been cool to have some electric guitars in there!

Maul Stanley: Have you ever incorporated your love of Star Wars or science-fiction into your own music?

Bruce Kulick: The song "Old Man Wise" by my band Union had something of a Star Wars vibe to it. Like a Yoda to a Luke Skywalker, Old Man Wise is the guy with all the wisdom, the old wizard type. With so much temptation and violence in the world, we're always looking for some higher answers to make the right choices in life. In that sense, Old Man Wise could even be seen as the wisdom we hope to find within ourselves. Lyrically, those ideas came from our singer John Corabi and producer Curt Cuomo, while I provided the main riff. There are also some pretty far-out sound effects going on in that song!

Maul Stanley: Who would win in a fight, the Clone Army or the Kiss Army?

Bruce Kulick: The Kiss Army definitely has more passion than the Clone Army, so that would give them the edge!

Maul Stanley: What similarities do you see between the Star Wars phenomenon and the Kiss phenomenon?

Bruce Kulick: Well, both Kiss and Star Wars made their big initial impact in the late '70s. They each had their run on top before eventually evening out for a while. Then in the late '90s, they both came back with a vengeance and the whole thing started all over again! Kiss hit it big with the reunion of the original band in makeup and George Lucas released the Special Editions of the original trilogy, followed by the prequels. So I found that to be an interesting parallel.

Pop culture seems to work in 20-year cycles like that. People begin to realize how much they loved something when they were young and how much they miss it now. So then those things come back, and in the process find all new fans. That's what blows me away about attending Kiss conventions. Even though I enjoy meeting the 40-year-old guy who's asking me to sign his "Crazy Nights" album, I'm even happier to meet his 5-year-old kid who is just completely fascinated by all things Kiss. Or the teenager who is just now discovering the music on his own. With things like Kiss and Star Wars and even Star Trek, they can be shared and enjoyed by the different generations.

The entire interview is available here:

Maul Stanley discusses his Bruce Kulick interviews in the latest episode of the Talking Metal podcast:

http://www.CaptainT.com/talkingmetal/talkingmetaleps218.mp3

Maul Stanley is the unlikely new anti-hero who combines the spirit of the Starchild with the essence of the Sith, spiked with a dash of irreverence. Drawing inspiration from both the Star Wars movies and the rock band Kiss, the so-called Sithchild mixes the dark side of rock & roll with the dark side of the Force. Maul Stanley has appeared on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and in the Triumph the Insult Comic Dog DVD. He can also be seen in the VH1 special "When Star Wars Ruled the World." In honor of the 30th anniversary of the Star Wars saga, Maul Stanley issued a series of interviews with members of Twisted Sister, Poison, Cinderella and Quiet Riot regarding their own unique Star Wars experiences. Maul Stanley is about to descend upon the realms of both sci-fi and rock & roll in a big way, heralded by the ominous whisper...

You've got Maul!
